    Run the Greenway 20k course with the Sir Walter Team!

    A few quick updates… Some of the Sir Walter Team will be doing a course jog Saturday, March 20 at 9am to set up the Strava Segment. Feel free to join us. We’ll have some free Greenway 20k neck gaiters (buffs). Start is on the Greenway by 2600 Brown Field Rd, Raleigh, NC 27610. Like podcasts?     2 x 10k Relay and Virtual 20k added!

    Want to run the Greenway 20k, but not a whole 20k? Or want to run on your own time? We have options for you! The 2 x 10k Relay is live! This will start at 10am only! Leg 1 will start at the Start by Brown Field Road, and Leg 2 will start in Anderson Point Park at the Halfway (10k) mark in front of Anderson Point Cottage, and finish at the finish line.     Public Service Announcement: The Greenway 20k takes the Capital Area Greenway on Saturday, April 3 March 5, 2021 – On Saturday, April 3, 2021, the Greenway 20k takes to the Capital Area Greenway System with a point-to-point course that will start on the Neuse River Trail, head through Anderson Point Park, and then finish on the Crabtree Creek Greenway. The race will start at 7:00am with waves starting every 30 minutes through noon.     We’re excited to have local standout runner and Coach, Andie Cozzarelli, put together beginner and intermediate training plans for the Greenway 20k that will start on Monday, March 8th. Andie was an All State Runner at Apex High School, an All American at NC State, and went on to qualify for the 2016 Olympic Trials Marathon.
